Mathilda Table

Evoking dappled light through the leaves of oak trees, this print is named after Mother Mathilda Beasley, the first African American nun in Georgia and founder of an orphanage. Through her work and her faith, Mother Mathilda gathered the disadvantaged children of Savannah into her nurturing arms, like the sturdy branches of an oak tree.
